The staircase is a vertical movement, designed to connect the different levels. It is a stepped ramp, consisting of a succession of horizontal, each, higher than the previous.

Interior stairways shall be of convenient use, the width of the step and the slope guarantees the safety of use by rail, the form and the top liner; comply with current safety standards. In the case of loft staircases, we find that not necessarily comply with this requirement, since we have everyday attics and lofts designed to hold, for occasional use.

Requirements staircases in attics:

In general the attic stairs are metal folding that can be hidden in a structure. The loft used to be hidden in the ceiling entrance hall on the top floor of the house or on the walls of the same.

When the door of the attic is in roof, usually has a chain system that opens the door and deploys the staircase. The materials used for these stairs are steel and aluminum. They can also be made of wood, are most common in older homes.

These staircases are usually formed by two beams with hinges to fold the staircase when not in use and are called concealed and can be folded in two, three and four sections.

Attic staircases are usually resting on the ground at an angle of 75 degrees, in a position similar to the steps of work. They are fixed to the structure of the attic floor, thereby providing greater security.

They can have railings or not, depending on the model, although the most common do not. For everyday attic, access is made as to any level of the home, using a normal fixed staircase.

It is possible that in very old houses, there is no staircase to the attic, in which case we resort to a straight play, which means a security risk. It is best to build a trap staircase to provide access to it, might use the services of professionals.

There are some innovative models of staircases to lofts, are those of folding scissors, allowing access to tight places. These steps are the latest technology. Step staircases are opening system which reduces them to the smallest possible size. It is necessary to provide working clearance in front of the trap in order to display it without difficulty.

When decorating a beach house or to choose materials for this we have several issues into account because the sea breeze may disadvantage some elements that we choose for our creations. Keep reading because we’ll give you tips to succeed in your choices.

First one of the greatest enemies of the sea breeze is iron, anything that is made of iron will rust quickly, because the breeze carrying sea salts in their composition are rapidly corrode the material. If for example we have some iron railings or handrail and do not want to substitute other materials, the ideal is that you paint giving it a coat of primer first and then a glaze, to make the two layers of coverage against the breeze.

If we have an awning or something else that has screws of iron and they are outdoors, it’s best to cover them during the winter with Vaseline and then put them cling film, so protect them from the action of the sea breeze. The material that best supports the weather in coastal areas is aluminum, it has no rust so quickly and if you choose a type of aluminum coating comes, it will resist even more.

In the bedroom, particularly in the mattress, there is also a material that does not get along too well with the beach, this is the latex. The latex to be resilient and adaptive capacity suffers from the wind reducing these properties and you’re wondering what I can do if I want to wear a latex mattress on the beach? For the best advice is to opt for a memory foam because it does not feel affected by the sea breeze and retains all its features intact.

In general, when making an interior in the beach area should be studied very well what kind of materials can feel affected by the sea breeze, because these small details can disadvantage our design.

The interior design looks like a Mediterranean style are almost always in fashion, they are looking fresh and timeless. When you choose the design style for your home, you can be a participant to take as little or as much more in terms of the decor of your home at rustic ethyl. There are some points you should consider for this, these are:

In the bathroom, the floor may be tiled with elaborate patterns, to give that Mediterranean feel to that area, you can choose a brown color with piping and even some accessories can be added to achieve a sophisticated touch.

Keep the cabinets in a color and allow the mosaics make note of emphasis. Optionally a number of candles always work well in the bathroom, where you can relax and unwind after a long day at the office.

Before embracing the Mediterranean environment, first determine how you want to interpret it, is often low to high. You can add accessories with some interesting pieces such as ornaments or drawings, but not be swayed too much in them. There are many different colors to choose from, but you can choose between one or two colors, so take a look at the whole picture.

Terracotta colors are ideal to others of being warm and fairly neutral, so this could be a very good background color for a room. By then, you can add touches of aqua, yellow or blue lot; you will have a bright taste of the Mediterranean at your fingertips.

To begin, start with the decor of one room and then once you interpret better what you want in a Mediterranean style, then add some accessories to even give a touch of home distension everything will be a paradise of sun and quiet as the distant Mediterranean.

The mosaic is something that is composed of different elements that can be joined to form “a whole” incredibly original. It may be an image, furniture, garden ornaments made of glass, stone, etc, and these would normally be equipped similarly inlaid to give an appearance of exclusivity.

Mosaic furniture need not be as expensive as expected, because for the simplest model, you can add little details of mosaic furniture or decorative items around the house, this place with ceramic tile, pebbles, stone, marble, stained glass and even pieces of glass too.

Decorating with mosaics is an art, since there are high performance materials that enhance your presentation, speak both interior and exterior. For example you can make an entire wall cladding, while other options doing murals on the interior walls of the house, take a swimming pool, fountains, walls, fireplaces, bathrooms, and more. The healthy thing for this type of decoration is that is resistant to various temperatures, climate change, chemical agents and even microorganisms.

The forms displayed in the mosaic can be made from particular landscapes or designs of any kind, give combination with types of shapes, colors and textures where all this will also depend on your style and taste to the area to perform.

Doing the work of applying tiles is easy; you can make this work, only in the case of not feeling safe, then call a contractor for the job. I recommend that you personally do it myself, that it saves money and because it is extremely easy to do at home.

Add tiles to decorate any part of your home!

Although usually made of wood, there are also materials such as tile, wallpaper or marble.

The wooden friezes are tables that have a female side and a male part, which are assembled perfectly, as they should be aligned. Amen decorative frieze of character, they are also functional for a covering of a wall, and hiding any flaws.

Tools and materials needed to install the frieze

The tools require the installation and placement of a frieze are screws, electric screwdriver, contact glue and nails intended for the task. Moreover, the relevant materials are the blades, which are available at any DIY store or carpenter. The sheets should be tongue and groove.

Molding is also needed, which will be used both in the lower and upper frieze, i.e. in the sockets. Finally, strips of wood are required, called profiles, which work to the setting of the frieze, which is generating slightly away from the wall and airy.

Then, the plates must be placed one by one and fix it with staples, the profile of the medium. Finally, contact with glue, we attach the molding, in each profile, both the lower and upper.

The interior can be very expensive. Here are some ways to decorate for less money. With a creative eye, and crafts, create your own masterpiece can be easier. When visitors come to your house and see how beautiful your home.

Paintings, pictures and frames

A good way to add color to the room is with paintings and photos. The cheapest way and good to do this is to buy cheap prints to attract the eye, both in patterns and colors. Prints can be purchased for less than five dollars. Another way to add color frames, since they come in a variety of styles and colors. To add personal touches and character to a room, buy wooden frames of various sizes and styles and fit into the tables.

Cushions

If you can sew a straight line, then you can sew your own pillows. Often, the fabric stores have large settlements. If you want a bargain, go to a thrift store and buy warm clothes or blankets and soft pillows to make. Wadding coast about a dollar a bag, and pillows that fill two small or one size made. To decorate the pillows, add decorative embroidery. You can also make fabric from old clothing you no longer use, and may wash or sew it to your liking.

Centerpieces

The centerpieces are a great addition to any coffee table or kitchen counter. They can also be made so inexpensively, but with taste and class. For example, you can purchase a shallow bowl of octagonal form and fill the bottom with pebbles. Add water, add blue food coloring to make the water of the tank is a deep blue and white floating candles. This is seen as a centerpiece elegant and expensive when they light the candles. To do so together, you can buy two small bowls for each table and add the same as the big fish tank. In this case, add only a floating candle bowl home.

Other decorating ideas

For items you want such as chests of drawers, bed frames, chairs, or anything else on a large scale, the best place to look for these things is in liquidation auctions and shops. You can pick up many items of quality in these types of sites, which can be sanded, painted, and clean and alter according to your taste. The chairs can be easily covered with a piece of cloth and foam. An old dresser can be upgraded with a touch of paint and unique patterns. There is really no limit to the creativity that can put an item and if it is something she enjoys doing, and then unleashes your creativity! The sky is the limit.

If you live in pairs and think about decorating your bedroom you should take into account two main aspects: the romance and practicality. The bedroom should be a place where both feel in complete comfort. Let us see how to decorate double rooms.

At the time of painting the bedroom using warm colors and romantic. However, avoid pinks (certainly not the best option for men!). Also avoid dark colors. Use reds, browns, golds and cream colors. This will create a welcoming environment for both.

Put some seats in the room. This will not be used as a sofa bed. Place a two-seater chair for reading or watching TV is a good decision. Also, if you have children, this allows you to keep the bed clean and tidy.

Watching TV at night can be nice. Anyway, and to do so by inertia, place the television in a closet. That way you can hide it whenever you want and pay attention to your partner.

Limits ornaments. Decorate the walls with family photographs can be a good idea. However, avoid excess porcelain ornaments, teddy bears and other small objects made of glass. So keep the room uncluttered and tidy.

Avoid canopies. While they may seem like a nice option is rarely practical. Try to keep your bedroom is a simple place that can be enjoyed with ease.

Make sure everyone has enough pillows to be comfortable. Maybe sleep when you can choose one (or even none). However, at some point will want to sit up in bed reading or watching television. This will be more comfortable.

We should never leave them alone and forgotten. Larger space visually is very important, so you as an example we use mirrors, but also tables, blades or other objects of decoration you can hang are essential in a home “living.”

The main secret to properly decorate the walls of your home, is that despite the asymmetry between the objects, look in a very harmonious. You should never forget the walls of your home. Decoration are key. Besides pictures, films or mirrors, you can liven with other supplements.

The important thing is that harmonizes well with another object. And, of course, be sure to frame the most cherished photos.

Pictures and prints

The color you’re going to paint the walls, also depends on the color of the works of art with which you are going to decorate the walls. Try to get married but both colors. The neutral tones and shades of gray always get along with any work of art.

Please leave the same space, between a painting and another, both along and across it. If you place them vertically, the room seem taller. If, however, you do it horizontally, you get longer. So be careful in the hallways, because you breaking the monotony of a space so long.

What we recommend is that before hanging pictures, do tests to find out what will be the end result.
As you well know, variety is taste, so you choose frames of different materials, sizes and colors.

We all want to live in a place comfortable and stylish. If you want your visitors come to marvel at your bathroom you just have to renew it correctly.

This time I approached a few suggestions to reshape this part of the house. You can complete the reforms fairly quickly or may take you a long time (depending on the scope of what you want.) It is therefore important to make sure of having enough money to finish your draft.

The surface will be as easy to change. You just have to cover the older areas. You need not replace anything. However, if you want to make more fundamental changes is important that you contact the appropriate persons. In this case it is necessary to ensure that nothing is bad below the area being renovated.

If the job requires a contractor is someone who has the necessary license. This will avoid hiring people who are not suitable for the job.

On the other hand, look after the pocket is essential. It is therefore important to compare prices of different materials you will use. This you must do before you begin the renovation.

Once you have completed the renewal of this part of the house can continue with the rest of the house. The most important thing is that you’re ready to tackle every aspect of a renovation (especially you have the appropriate budget.)

Next to the outdoor appearance of a home – what it looks up front and when you’re standing outside the gate – the next most important thing that will weigh heavily on a prospective buyer’s mind is the interior design. You need to make the most out of the first encounter between the upper-fixer you’re selling and the client. You need to make them exclaim wow and not make a ho-hum-boring sigh!

Repainting the Walls and Ceilings
Walls usually dominate and set the tone for any room. That’s why it’s important to choose the right paint or wallpaper when renovating any room or home. Painting is less costly than having new wallpaper upholstered and since upper-fixer renovations are frequently subject to budget constraints, painting is ultimately your best option when it comes to changing how the walls appear.

Always use a primer or base coat when painting walls. Make sure that the primer’s color matches the surface paint color of the wall to achieve a beautiful blending and layered effect. Using a primer will also help save money because it often makes a second coat of paint unnecessary.

If it’s your first time repainting walls and ceilings, don’t hesitate to ask for tips from the people working in hardware stores. You should know that certain types of paint brushes work better for certain types of paints. Foam brushes, for instance, are great when used to apply simple touch-ups. Never paint on a wall or ceiling that needs fixing. Have them repaired first before applying a fresh coat of paint.

Choosing one color for the entire home will again help you stick to your budget because all you need to purchase is the primer and the surface paint color. If, however, you wish to make use of varying colors, keep in mind that different colors and textures produce different results. Matte or flat finishes for walls are better able to hide any of the walls’ imperfections. Glossy finishes, on the other hand, are able to reflect more sunlight. Cool shades like blue and green – water hues, in other words – are said to give rooms a cooler atmosphere while hot shades like red, yellow and orange can make rooms warmer than it is.

How to Maximize Space
Most clients – if not all – love spacious homes and this is why it’s important for you to maximize space in the upper-fixer you’re planning to sell, especially if it’s of limited size only. If your budget permits it, consider adding windows to your house because they create the illusion of added space. Mirrors have a similar effect as well but you should be careful with where you plan to place them. Look for any part of the house that’s “under-used”. If the kitchen has more than enough storage space, you could turn the pantry into a bathroom. The area under the staircase is often overlooked; consider turning it into a storage closet or a small bathroom.

Tackling the Dirtiest Parts of the House
The kitchen and the bathroom are considered by many as the dirtiest parts of the house because a lot of activities often take place in these areas. And since use of water is mostly involved, these rooms often have muddied and moldy appearances. Consider making changes to the walls and floors that would give them better protection against the damaging and other unappealing effects of exposure to water. Using dark colored tiles in bathrooms, for instance, will easily make dirt and mud less visible. In the kitchen, consider using laminated countertops because they are more durable and absolutely easier to clean.

Cleaning and Polishing as the Finishing Touches
When all is said and done, the last thing you should do in preparation of having prospective clients come over for an open-house is to give it the benefits of a general cleaning session. No speck of dust must be left in any part of the house. Polish the floors, the banister, the window rails and every door knob in the house. A clean house will always give a better impression than one that’s beautifully designed but neglected.

Hiring a Contractor
Lastly, don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it. Hiring a contractor may mean paying extra fees but this decision can help you avoid more costly mistakes!
